Early to Agra

Its just after 6am here and our car is waiting outside for our 4 hour trip to Agra.

Not a good night sleep last night either unfortunately as they are doing major road construction work about 200 metres away which involves the periodic (maybe once every 3 minutes) pile driving of massive steel stanchons into the ground.

Kristine has just been in and told us she has had a cold shower (you need to turn on the hot water heater 30 minutes before you want a shower), and that they got maybe 1-hour of sleep last night.

Time to go...depending on how tired we are we we return I'll provide an update.

Its now after 11pm, and we're back. I've also inserted a couple of images as teasers: The Taj Mahal really is something that must be seen; the drive to and from Agra (4 hours plus or minus each way) was almost harrowing in is intensity and in what you see out the car window; we (all four of us) felt like "marks" - everyone trying to touch-us-up for cash; Maria and I took another couple of auto rickshaw trips at the end of the day to go and get dinner (due to confusion in pronunciation it was longer than expected taking us to "Friends Markets" rathr than the much nearer "Defence Colony Markets").
